My work explores the journey of my ancestral history, the Art of the Contemporaries and the traditions of the Fine Arts.

Each style can be beautifully paired, they can also compliment one another through the rules and principles of each. To capture a combination of strength and vulnerability with each genre.

Lessie's primary subject is the figure, he feels the key element is to bring all the styles he is currently studying together on one painting. Not to just paint what he sees in front of him, but to get the feelings of his subject and not paint what's on the surface, but from the inside out.
